A Firm Built On Trial Work
Andrew Pickett founded the firm in Downtown Melbourne in 2018 after several years as a prosecutor in Brevard County’s 18th Judicial Circuit, where he built the courtroom instincts that still guide how the firm operates today. This past New Year’s Eve, the firm sponsored $10,000 in free Lyft ride credits through its Safe Ride Home campaign, giving Brevard County residents an easy, no-cost way to get home safely on one of the highest-risk nights of the year for impaired driving. The campaign didn’t just hand out vouchers. It reflected something the firm sees every day in its own casework: how much devastation a single decision behind the wheel can cause, and how much of it is preventable.
None of this is required of a law firm. Plenty of firms grow their revenue without ever putting anything back into the community around them. This one has chosen a different path: reinvesting in Brevard County at roughly the same rate it reinvests in its own business, so that growth on paper turns into something felt on the ground. A student starting the school year with new supplies. A family getting home safely instead of risking the drive. A client who gets a call back the same day they need one, because there’s enough staff to make that possible.

Ask Andrew about the ranking, and he doesn’t spend much time framing it as his own accomplishment.
