In the Community
At Andrew Pickett Law, giving back is at the heart of what we do. While we are dedicated to delivering excellence in legal representation with compassion and relentless determination, we’re equally passionate about showing up for our neighbors outside of it. That’s why we host community events—to support local families, connect with the people we serve, and create moments that make a lasting impact.
From school supply giveaways to pet adoptions, each event is thoughtfully designed to give back in meaningful ways. Our mission is rooted in compassion, excellence, and relentless dedication—not just to our clients, but to our entire community.

Community Events
2nd Annual Trunk or Treat
Andrew Pickett Law is proud to bring you our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 4–7 PM at the Greater Palm Bay Senior Center! This free community event is designed to give local families a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween. Kids can enjoy trunk-or-treating with plenty of candy, bounce houses, seasonal games, contests, prizes, and delicious food trucks—all while parents connect with neighbors and local businesses. We’re also inviting 25 local businesses to join us in decorating trunks and handing out candy, helping make this year’s festival bigger and better than ever. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the season, showcase community spirit, and create lasting memories for families across Palm Bay.
Project Backpack 2025
This summer, Andrew Pickett Law hosted our second annual Project Backpack event—an exciting back-to-school giveaway that provided local students with backpacks loaded with essential school supplies. Families from across Brevard County joined us for two days of fun that included bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, food trucks, and even surprise appearances from local first responders. Our team distributed over 700 backpacks to help kids start the school year strong. We're proud to be part of a community that supports one another and grateful for everyone who came out to make this event a success.
Community Pet Adoption - Meet Your Best Friend
Earlier this year, we partnered with local shelters for our Community Pet Adoption - Meet Your Best Friend, giving dozens of dogs the chance to find their forever homes. We offered giveaways, pet supply swag, and a joyful atmosphere for families to meet their new best friends. This event wasn’t just about adoptions—it was about connection, compassion, and bringing the community together around a cause that truly matters. We're proud to support our local shelters and the people who open their homes and hearts to animals in need.
