Last year, we gave 500+ kids the tools to start school with confidence. This year, we’re doubling our impact to reach 1,000 children and families in need throughout Melbourne, FL, and the surrounding areas of Brevard County.
Join us for a day of free backpacks, school supplies, entertainment, and community. Because every child deserves to walk into that classroom ready.

The first 750 people to pre-register are guaranteed a backpack if picked up during our event window (10 AM – 12 PM).

Pick up your free backpack packed with supplies. No paperwork. No hassle. Just support.

Play in the bounce houses. Dance with the DJ. Eat ice cream. Celebrate community.
No pre-registration? No problem! We’ll have additional backpacks available for those who can’t pre-register, on a first-come, first-served basis.
WHY WE DO THIS
At Andrew Pickett Law, we believe in giving back to the community that we serve. We believe that every child deserves a fair shot at success, and that sometimes, a new backpack packed with supplies can help make that possible.
Last year, our community stepped up. Teachers told us kids arrived at school with confidence they’d never had. Parents shared stories of relief, one less financial burden during a tough time. Children smiled bigger knowing someone in their community cared enough to help.
This year, we’re reaching twice as many kids.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to pre-register? Pre-registration guarantees a backpack (first 750 registrations). But if you can’t pre-register, we’ll have additional backpacks available on a first come-first served basis! Just show up.
What time should I arrive? The event runs from 10 AM – 12 PM. Come anytime in that window. With the high attendance we experienced last year, lines are possible, so early arrival is recommended.
What’s included in each backpack? Each backpack is packed with essential school supplies, including notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, folders, and more. Everything your child needs to be ready for school.
Will there be food? Yes! Ice cream vendors will be on-site. It’s a hot summer day, and we want everyone to cool off and have fun.
Can I bring multiple kids? Absolutely! Each child can receive a backpack. Bring your kids, your cousins, your neighbors’ kids, everyone is welcome.
Do I need to bring anything? Nope! Just bring yourself and your family.
What if I can’t make it during the event window? Unfortunately, backpacks are only available during the 10 AM – 12 PM window on July 18, 2026. Plan ahead and come during that time if possible!
What if I pre-registered but can’t make it? That’s okay! Your backpack will go to the next person on the waiting list. If you think you might not make it, you can reach out to us to let us know.
